The Statue of Liberty
I stand alone in New York Bay,
Right at “Freedom’s Golden Door.”
My torch is seen throughout the world
And it will shine forever more!
I hold it high in my gentle hand
For all the world to see.
On my tablet these words inscribed,
A message from the heart of me.
“Give me your tired, your poor,
huddled masses yearning to breath free,
the wretched refuse of your teeming
shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to
me.
I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door!”
I have stood here for a very long time.
If you check your book of history
I may be known by another name
Like “Mother of exiles”
That indeed is not a mystery!

podstawowym. Pozdrawiam, życzę Wesołych Świąt :)
Pani ichna, dziekuje bardzo za komentarz i
